Dimitri Pissarenko is Vice-president Research and Innovations at TOTAL, Russia, he also holds a Professor position at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. Dr. Pissarenko obtained his PhD in Geophysics from Institut de Physique du Globe, Paris, and he is a graduate of MIT Sloan Business School “Strategic Innovation” Program. Over more than 30 years of his professional career, Dr. Pissarenko has held various research and academic positions in leading European universities and research institutions. After joining Schlumberger in 2000, he worked in corporate R&D centers in France, the United Kingdom, and Russia where he directed research and engineering projects. Dr. Pissarenko served as Vice-president Research and Development, Schlumberger Russia, and made a major contribution to the foundation and maturing of Schlumberger Moscow Research Center. Since 2019 Dr. Pissarenko joined a major global energy company TOTAL where he is part of Strategy and Intelligence team, and is responsible for Research and Innovations in Russia.
